Leprosy has become a major challenge for the humanity. Many social organizations in India and abroad are doing a lot to redress the hardship of lepers. More important is the problem of healthy children of leprosy patients. Vidya Bharati has started a Sushil Balak Griha at Champa but separate from the leprosy Home. There are 53 students. Vidya Bharati schools all over the country celebrate Jan. 30 as fund raising day. Every year more than rupees 10 lakhs are donated to this Ashram at Champa (M.P.) It is a unique gesture of social service.
